Primary Skill Requirement:

Work extensively on database operations on a L3 production support capability. - Oracle 10G & 11G deep technical expertise – 8-10 years of experience working as a Production Oracle DBA – Practical Oracle Database Administration experience involving all the day to day activities, preferably for 11g – Experience of managing Oracle on very large systems with Linux (RHEL) and Windows OS. – Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability & optimal service. – Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service. – Should have good experience on implementing & supporting an Oracle RAC Database with ASM. – Should be Oracle Certified, preferably OCP – Experience in advanced Oracle concepts like Data guard, Advanced Security, streams would be an added advantage. – Responsible for supporting, maintaining of Oracle Databases for our Live Systems. – Responsible for ensuring the performance, availability of the databases – Working and guiding the Team to any sort of problems/issues that come in a Production DBA support – To proactively monitor the database to ensure minimum downtime – Responsible for escalation of issues to Oracle Services or third party – Responsible for implementation and release of changes to production by the development team – Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout , upgrades and security patches.
