PORTAL ARCHITECT:
Job Description
- Manage multiple offshore UE projects by overseeing the delivery, execution, quality of deliverables, and technology solution
- Respond to proposals with solutions / estimates
- Serve as a liaison between the customer and/or onshore resources and development team
- Identify and harvest reusable assets, catalog and make available for consumption.
- Mentor development teams and provide guidance in best practices
- Assist on projects to speed delivery timeline when required
- Learn and keep abreast with latest technology trends and products in the domain
- Provide training plan for offshore team enablement, and assist in evaluating progress of resources.
- Provide skills assessment for the UE offshore consultants.

General Expectations
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Location Hyderabad
Should have ability to provide technical direction to projects as a technical lead or as an architect
Should have led multiple SDLC projects, should have worked on complex development projects
Strong Java / J2EE / Webservices background as the base for all
Very good SDLC process maturity
Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
Good hands on experience with building and deployment of portal applications
Effective communications, customer interfacing, requirements gathering and solution design (HLD/LLD) capability
Act as subject matter expert in IBM WebSphere Portal and WCM technologies.
