Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Computer science or equivalent.
Experience in working on development / integration solutions
Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Design Methodologies
Proven ability to apply this knowledge into strategies for development
Good understanding of UML, Design Patterns
Excellent command of the Java Language
Extensive working knowledge of Java and J2EE Technologies (Servlets, JSP, JMS, EJB etc)
Extensive working knowledge on technologies such as XML, Web Services, etc.
Experience in Struts & Hibernate.
Must prove to have the ability to work as an integral part of a team, as well as, fully understand the importance of the tasks as it sits within the overall picture.
Proficient in understanding business processes / requirements and translating them into technical requirements
A Team player with excellent communication, analytical, verbal and writing skills
Strong working knowledge on web application development
Excellent time management skills
Must demonstrate a desire to learn new technologies, and expand on your skill set.
Experience in Financial business domain is a plus
