Candidate should have experience in object-orientated analysis and design.
Knowledge of Design Patterns – MVC, Domain Driven and Repository patterns (few of these can be optional)
Knowledge of UML with Use case, Class and Sequence diagrams (should be able to at least understand and interpret these diagrams)

Experience in .NET 3.5 Framework
Experience in C# 3.0
ASP.NET 3.0, SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2008
Awareness to SaaS based solutions/platforms
Experience in following technologies/ frameworks:
ASP.NET MVC2, Nhibernate
Development Process/Tools
Good understanding and experience in Source Code management tools like Visual Sourcesafe, Perforce, Subversion, etc.
Unit Testing (NUnit, Mocking, etc)
Desirable
Agile Processes (Scrum, Iterative, etc)
Team Foundation Server
Other Source code management tools and Work item tracking tools
MSBuild, Powershell.
