Position: Senior Software QA Engineer-Storage
Location: Pune
Job Description
Perform Software-level testing of kernel bootloaders, Linux kernel services and peripheral drivers as well as various GUI applications. Develop test plans and C test code to perform low-level software testing of driver functionalities
Design and execute performance testing and benchmarking on platforms built using AMCC Power PC family of processors. Develop automation test suites to support ongoing software and performance regression
Work extensively with U.S-based
Hardware and software engineers for project definitions, design, and testing throughout the project cycle. Lead a small project team of other software engineers
In-depth knowledge of QA process and testing methodology
Knowledge of Linux kernel and device driver in and out
Experience with network testing and its testing tool
Experience with automation and scripts such as Perl, TCL, and etc
Knowledge of C language
Background in testing kernel programming, kernel services and device drivers
Understanding of storage protocols such as SCSI, SATA, SAS, iSCSI, FC
Good understanding of RAID, volume management, storage virtualization in networked storage environments
Experience with writing software for storage HBAs/RAID Controllers
Experience with testing linux kernel RAID stack a plus particularly experience with "md" driver and linux SCSI stack
Understanding of storage stack and developing storage management applications....
