As a QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in building test automation frameworks and tools for real-time, production critical, high volume web applications, you will assist in creating automated test frameworks and develop standardized automated test processes.
Additional duties include organizational support by assessing and utilizing appropriate tools to accomplish requested tasks with precision and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in building our automated testing frameworks.
Develop automated tests utilizing said frameworks.
Work closely with developers to understand product requirements, technology, and user feedback.
Work with the Agile Team, and close out the end-to-end story lifecycle by ensuring that automated tests are created for maximum coverage.
Work closely with the manual testing team while implementing existing manual test cases into automation.
Act as an overall technical QA automation expert - willing and able to do support the team as needed in this role.
Required Skills:
1 years experience in Java is must.
Demonstratable knowledge of and hands-on experience in scripting skills across a wide variety of platforms and languages - preferably, 3+ years experience in at least two major scripting or programming languages (Java, Ruby and ant scripting, etc.)
Understanding of XPath queries and functions
Understanding and experience using CSS Selectors (must).
Experience using Selenium RC.
Person should have experience working with Agile or scrum methodologies. Experience using Selenium Grid (nice to have).
Experience with Continuous Integration build tools like Hudson or CruiseControl.
Experience with database programming languages, MySQL.
Experience building and maintaining a Selenium Regression test suite.
Understanding of object oriented concepts.
Experience with testing database driven web applications.
Thorough knowledge of internet, web applications, XML.
Experience using JIRA (helpful, but not required).
Experience with any testcase management tools like HP Quality Center.
