Project Manager - PeopleSoft Technical for Cedar Crestone India

The candidate should lead and manage deliverables for offshore projects.

Displays functional knowledge with PeopleSoft systems; i.e., global HR, Payroll, FIN, SCM

Demonstrates experience and expertise in the design and execution of implementation and upgrade methodology, testing, status reporting, executive and internal communications and general daily management of key activities

Responsible for Quality Assurance.

Tracks project progress and manage expectations through successful project completion.

Develop custom application functionality using SQR, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Business Interlinks, SQL, and Application Messaging skills

Assist functional resources in the design phase of custom development projects

Reapply customizations in conjunction with large application upgrades

Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical and functional problems in PeopleSoft environments

Address issues occurring in the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) including Oracle and SQL Server databases, tuxedo application servers, process schedulers on both Unix and NT, and webserver configuration

Analyze and debug issues with SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Process Schedulers, Application Servers, Application Messaging and Web Servers

Debug and optimize SQL statements within Query, SQR, COBOL and Application Engine

Work in multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools including version 7.5 to current release

Work across multiple PeopleSoft application modules

Apply application and tools updates such as patches and fixes, tax updates, regulatory releases, and tools upgrades

Configure, debug and support PeopleSoft applications in a multi-client remote support environment


Communicates clearly and effectively with customers, team members and Crestone
management

Maintains an effective relationship with customers, team members and management

Provides input in the development of tools and processes to help increase team
productivity

Builds confidence and trust with customers

Displays effective analytical skills

Displays effective organizational skills

Effectively manages scope and customer expectations on individual assignments

Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of customer issues

Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to customers
