This position requires an individual who can create automation software to test Windows and Web-based platform applications.
Products encompass enterprise labor management software and network devices.
QA process includes white-box (internal) and external integration with in-house and 3rd party hardware/software development teams.
Strong programming experience is required.
Experience in designing an automated test suite using an industry standard automation tool such as QTP/Selenium/any automation tool is a must.
The individual must be able to work successfully in a collaborative engineering environment.
Using refined cooperative and diplomatic skills the individual will build strong relationships throughout the organization, proactively seeking out contacts within complimentary groups and establishing strong lines of communication.
Close interaction with Development Engineering will be necessary to define and obtain API, hooks, code entry points, etc
Minimum of 3 years recent experience in the full life cycle of automation test environments in planning, code development and implementation efforts, and utilizing industry standard automation tools such as QTP/Selenium/any automation tool
3 years minimum System test experience; full life cycle test, writing test plans, developing test strategies, implementing test strategies.
3 years of experience in building complex functions and methods in an automation repository environment.
Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to look for non-standard problem solutions.
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain current automation and obsolete outdated automation.
1. QTP/Selenium/any automation tool a must, plus at least one scripting language.
2. Java technologies (Java Beans, JSP, JCE, J2EE etc) a plus.
3. Working knowledge of other programming languages a plus.
4. Web technologies (HTML, XML,, CSS, etc) a plus.
5. SQL, ASP, ODBC, and JDBC
6. Experience working with a Real-Time operating system a plus.
