The Portal Developer should have hands on the following:
1. Design, Development, Testing, Implementation and Support of web application.
2. Troubleshooting of existing applications.
3. Documentation of the application as per industry standard.
Desired Profile
The candidate should have competencies in the following areas:
1. Proficient in using J2EE framework using JSP, Servlet and Struts/Spring using various design patterns.
2. Proficient in using object oriented concept using Java.
3. Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL(preferably on Oracle).
4. Having experience in designing complete web portal to be deployed on Web application server (Weblogic/Websphere/Tomcat).
5. Knowledge on gathering requirements from user, designing, development, testing, implementation and support.
6. Knowledge of analyzing the data and workflow.
7. Knowledge of mobile application development will be added advantage.
8. Good team member.
9.Good Communication skills
